About Nesko

​Nesko Electric Company got it's start "busting bungalows" as a residential electrical shop way back in the 1950's, focusing then mainly on the burgeoning post-war housing boom.

An ownership change in 1965 saw the company re-incorporated and the focus of the firm was then changed to our current mix of commercial, medical, manufacturing, institutional, and not-for-profit work.  It was also at this time that an in-house lighting design, engineering and drafting department was added.  It's no exaggeration to say that Nesko has been a design/build firm since well before the term "design/build" became a popular catchphrase. 

Nesko's recent history includes various LEED projects, projects designed and built using the latest BIM drafting software, and the size of the market we serve is growing  well beyond the confines of the Chicagoland area.

As we quickly approach Nesko job #10,000 (yes, 10,000 different projects thus far), it's a fair statement that no matter where you travel in the Chicagoland area, you're likely either passing by or arriving at a project that was completed by Nesko Electric Company.

To all of our customers, friends, and trusted associates who have helped to sustain us all of these years, please know it's certainly appreciated, as we couldn't have done it without you. 

We're excited to see where our next 10,000 projects will take us!
